What Things Should Every Potential Volunteer Think about?

• Personal experiences with illness in the family.

• Ability to accept pain, sorrow and suffering as a normal component of human life.

• Sensation for other person's troubles.

• Ability to face the fact that what she/he does is not always caused only by wish of doing a good deed.

• Openness to further learning.

• Virtue of being reliable and capable for cooperation.

• Ability to change own attitudes in judgment of other people and events.

• Ability of adaptation.

• Her/his own sources of strength.

• Family approvement for this kind of her/his voluntary work.

• Importance of the distance between living and working place.

• Ability to obligate on cooperation for at least three months long.
